ACO KerbDrain Inlet Plugs
Reduces Costly Site Cleaning of Channels

ACO is pleased to introduce the new reusable ACO KerbDrain® Inlet Plugs, engineered to minimise the need for costly cleaning by preventing asphalt debris from entering the channels during installation.
Designed for use with the KerbDrain D400 Half Batter and Splay systems, these plugs effectively seal the inlet holes during both the initial installation and the placement of the finished road surface. This barrier helps prevent debris and asphalt from entering the channels, reducing the need for labour-intensive cleaning that can delay project handover. By limiting cleaning requirements, the Inlet Plugs help reduce water usage, CO₂ emissions, and associated costs.

Improved Surface Finish
The Inlet Plugs support a cleaner installation by helping to maintain a neat edge along the kerb inlets. They also provide the roller driver with a clear visual reference of the kerb line, assisting with closer and more precise operation.

Cleaning Cost Reduction
When considering the cost of the Inlet Plugs alongside installation, maintenance time, and resources, KerbDrain Inlet Plugs can help reduce overall project costs.

Carbon Reduction
Heavy machinery used to clean drainage after installation contributes to CO₂ emissions. By using KerbDrain Inlet Plugs, the need for post-installation cleaning can be reduced, helping to lower associated emissions.

Reduced Water Consumption
Typically, cleaning the channels to remove asphalt and debris after installation requires large volumes of water. Using KerbDrain Inlet Plugs helps reduce the need for post-installation cleaning, lowering water consumption.

Quick Installation
The Inlet Plugs are designed for quick and easy installation. They simply slot in and out of the inlets, allowing for efficient fitting and removal.

Reusable & Recyclable
The ACO KerbDrain Inlet Plugs are designed for multiple uses, allowing KerbDrain installations to be completed with a minimal number of plugs. They are also fully recyclable at the end of their life.
